Add a custom OID to a certificate request

I need a SERIALNUMBER field (OID 2.5.4.5) in the Subject field of a certificate request.
Creating a custom request in certificate store is of no help as such OID is not present and there is no possibility to manually add that OID inside the subject field.

Solution is to use a command-line utility named certreq:
